Itinerary
Leave the lodge after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park for a game drive. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa.

After breakfast, you will drive via the Ngorongoro highlands towards the Serengeti plains, game drives en route to the central Serengeti, and Head over to the Rock Kopjes where you have good chances of seeing some of the cat families. Cheetahs and lions use these giant rock outcrops as observation posts. Mid-afternoon you head towards the Camp located in central Serengeti where you arrive in time for sundowner drinks.

With a packed lunch box start the early morning game drive search for big cats hunting before sunrise, enjoy the magical landscape of the open plains of Serengeti, drive slowly while encountering species of birds including a choir spotted morning thrush, and later evening back to the camp for overnight.

Enjoy early breakfast and meet your guide to have a last morning game drive in serengeti national park, later depart to Ngorongoro Conservation area with en-route game drive via Olduvai gorge and picnic lunch. Ngorongoro is a special conservation area and not a National Park. The whole area is managed for both animals and local Maasai people who graze their cattle alongside the indigenous wildlife.

After breakfast, descend into the crater, enjoy 5 hours game drive in the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania's last remaining black rhino. Late afternoon drive back to Arusha and drop off at your hotel.
