Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner This morning you will be met by a BAS guide who will transfer you to Arusha Airport to board your flight to Katavi National Park, arriving at your luxury accommodation Chada Katavi in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. Katavi National Park is the ultimate off the beaten track safari adventure. With only a few hundred visitors per year Katavi provides thrilling game viewing opportunities. The size of the herds has to be seen to be believed and you are always aware that you are in one of the last remaining wild places on earth. Your accommodation at Chada Katavi is the perfect place to return after an action-packed game drive. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Depart by air to Mahale National Park and Greystoke Mahale Camp, overlooking Lake Tanganyika. Mahale National Park is famous for containing some of the last remaining wild chimpanzees in Africa. With the nearest road some 100 miles away, the area surrounding Greystoke has remained largely untouched. Watch from your accommodation as chimps scuttle along the beach and entertain you with their always animated antics. You can also enjoy a sunset cruise on a traditional dhow.
